Well, I do believe this requires an explanation...
Tonight I was intending to photograph water droplets again, but I ended up accidentally spilling water over myself instead. So, a less messy idea was to photograph a pair of spiders that have been lurking about near the laundry.
I caught them in a clearish container and ended up trying to get them both into a larger clear container with cling wrap over the top. One of them ended up escaping and in my attempt to catch him, I accidentally spilled more water when I tried to catch him in the cup I'd been using for water.
So one of the spiders was in the clear container whereas the other was in a red cup. From there, I was taking various macro shots of them bother. I got some decent sharpness, yet the lighting was a bit difficult to maintain and I do know about the various noise and degradation in the shots, especially some of the red portion of shot three.
Regardless of that, I still enjoy the shots and they did provide me with practice.
I must admit, though, even though I doubt they're poisonous, being so close really creeped me out. I'm not afraid of spiders, but I don't think I liked being that close either...
